i don’t sell paper | miami photographer
this blog post was inspired by leah remillet of leah remillet photography.
Leah recently received a hysterical phone call from the mother of a senior girl she recently photographed that needed pictures for the girls funeral. Tragically this mother was now planning a funeral instead of a graduation party.
its moments like this that makes me stop and really count my blessings. to not sweat the small stuff. to totally “hakunamata” it.
photography in any way (professional, amateur, hobbyist, momtog) captures moments that we experience and quickly forget. when we look back at those images later they usually evoke an emotion directly related to that moment. its not the paper…… its the image, the moment, the memories on that paper. hopefully its one of blissful nostalgia. i am so grateful to love what i do and thank all my clients + friends for letting me be a part of those moments.
